My VIP membership is expiring in 6 days. I'm being promoted to renew it now & very much think I will at some point.
But wonder if my renewal will start the day after expiry?
Or if it will start from the date I renew?

I might lose out on 1 week of benefits if I renew today and the renewal starts from today.

As far as I know, the renewal starts when your current membership expires. If you want to cancel an ongoing membership, it will expire, and will not be renewed

Here is my experience: If you initially signed up for VIP for 30 days, the default is that it will Auto Renew on the day that your subscription expires. If, however, you opted for the 90 day or 180 day VIP membership, there is NO Auto Renewal. You will be prompted that your VIP membership will expire and if you don't do anything, expire it shall. My input is that I prefer to have more control over when additional funds go into the F4F coffers, so I generally opt for the 90 day VIP option and then renew when I want to. That's my :twocents .

And I think we are both on the same page when it comes to knowing about the F4F coffers. I signed up wth the 90 day & I'm fully aware it doesn't renew automatically. My preference tbh!
It will expire Jan 7 and I decided to let it expire a day or 2 just to experience what happens. Will be watching if I lose deal codes, or other things.
But this way I won't be paying double on 1 week where the old one new overlap.

I talked with Live Chat support about this, and then did my experiment to confirm that the Extend time adds to the end of the current membership period. The membership page said my membership would expire on February 5, I purchased an additional 180 day membership (the best value, imo), and now the membership page says my VIP membership will expire on August 3.
